In 1985, Cops Who Care planted Wickenburg’s first “Community Christmas Tree” on the southwest corner of Wickenburg Way and Tegner Street. In 2015, Cops Who Care partnered with the Town of Wickenburg and Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch and purchased a new “Community Christmas Tree”. This 22 foot, pre-lit, artificial tree is showcased at the newly renovated Hassayampa River Walk. The Wickenburg Art Club and the Town of Wickenburg constructed and painted the three foot wooden base for the tree while the Town of Wickenburg purchased the “Cowboy Hat” topper for the tree.

Every year, on the Saturday, following Thanksgiving, Cops Who Care celebrates the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree with the community.

Children and adults from the area sing Christmas Carols while enjoying coffee, hot chocolate and cookies provided by Chaparral Ice Cream and Bakery. A FREE Christmas photo is provided by Rockin’ U Photography.

    This event is free.
